Looking for a date night that is a little more memorable than dinner and a movie? Come cook, eat, laugh and learn at Strawberry Hill Museum!

We're kicking off our Holiday Cooking & Eating Date Nights with two delicious evenings featuring the traditions, stories and flavors of Italy and Croatia.

Friday, November 13 — Italian Cooking with Bill Sirna

Join us for an evening with our very active Italian Board Member, Bill Sirna, as he shares stories about his grandmother, father, mother and the Italian family traditions that helped shape his love of cooking.

Bill will teach you how to make homemade Italian meatballs and sauce, and you'll get hands-on experience making your own to take home and enjoy later.

But don't worry—you won't leave hungry!

Once the class is finished, we'll sit down together for a delicious dinner featuring everything you've learned to make, along with a Caesar salad and your choice of wine or beer.

Friday, December 4 — Croatian Cooking with Andrea Perlick

Next up, we're traveling to Croatia!

Our extraordinary Croatian teacher, Andrea Perlick, will teach you the art of making Sarma—traditional Croatian cabbage rolls.

You'll get hands-on instruction and make a dozen cabbage rolls to take home. Then sit down and enjoy a wonderful Croatian-inspired dinner featuring Sarma, special potatoes, salad, wine and beer.
